SI-CANopen
The CANopen interface module for Unidrive M supports various profiles, including several drive profiles. SI‑CANopen has been designed to offer maximum flexibility: in particular, the numbering system of the Process Data Objects (PDO) protocol has been specially designed to offer maximum versatility, while maintaining compliance with CiA standards (CAN in Automation).
Features include:
• Data rates (in bits/s): 1 M, 800 K, 500 K, 250 K, 125 K, 100 K and 50 K
• 4 transmit and 4 receive PDO protocols (A, B, C and D) supported
• Independently configurable transmit and receive PDO protocol numbers (1-511) for maximum application flexibility
• All synchronous and asynchronous PDO communication modes supported
• Total of 32 bytes (16 words) obtained in each direction using PDOs (4 64-bit TxPDOs and 4 64-bit RxPDOs)
• Service Data Objects (SDO) providing access to all drives and option module parameters
• “Heartbeat” user message
• Emergency message marked as completed
• Processing of RxPDO, SYNC and “Heartbeat” events
