TSXSCM2116 - Communication Coupler - TELEMECANIQUE
This TELEMECANIQUE communication module is reference TSXSCM2116. It is part of the TSX Series 7 series.
Channel 0: Isolated RS232 C, Channel 1: UNI-TELWAY.
This TELEMECANIQUE communication module is at your disposal to replace your defective equipment and has a guarantee adapted to your needs.
Module reconditioned and tested on a test bench (100% test).
The READ_VAR function is used to read the value of one or more language objects: internal bit, internal word, system bit, system word, constant word, internal double word, constant double word, structured objects (timer, monostable, counter, registers, cyclic programmer).
The read objects must always be consecutive. They can be located in a remote central unit or in equipment connected to a communication channel of ETHERNET type TCP / IP, FIPWAY, Uni-telway, terminal port, Modbus, Modbus Plus, Modem.
The response must contain a maximum number of bytes depending on the protocol and the type of destination product.
At the end of the read operation, the length of the received data is stored
in word 4 of the management parameter.
The READ_VAR function can read up to 1000 consecutive bits in a remote device, regardless of this device and whatever protocol is used (Uni-telway or Modbus / Jbus).
In PL7, the input of object types must be consistent. The writing must be done in all lowercase letters or all capital letters otherwise the function returns a report equal to 16 # 06 (specific parameters incorrect).
For TSX Micro or TSX Premium PLCs, access to read internal bits (via Uni-telway) has the following particularity:
- the bit priority value is returned in the response.
- the reading of 1 bit therefore comprises two bytes of response:
- the first contains the value of the 8 bits from the one requested.
- the second contains the indication of the forcing of these bits.
- to read one of the last 8 bits of the memory it is obligatory to read the 8
last, otherwise the function returns a 16 # 01 operation report.
Since its creation, the Telemecanique brand has been pursuing an innovation policy, which has become one of the world’s first references in automatism management.
The story of Telemécanique is read through that of its inventions, initiated with the launch of the first contactor on bars. A patent filed the same year of its acquisition, in 1924! It will develop contactors D became world reference. The 1980s marked the acquisition of Telemechanics by Schneider Electric (1988).
