The V200/V300 security camera is an electro-sensitive protective equipment (ESPE). The V200/V300 security camera works with 3 different resolutions. The maximum dimensions of the protective field change depending on the selected resolution.

The camera monitors the area – the protective field – delimited by its viewing angle and the reflective band for possible occlusions. When the V200/V300 detects an obstruction of the protective field, the camera deactivates its safety outputs
The following conditions must be met for the V200/V300 security camera to perform its protective function:
- The machine control must be electrically controlled.
- It must be possible at any time to put an end to the dangerous situation of the machine.
- The camera and the reflective tape must be arranged so that objects that enter the danger zone are definitely detected by the V200/V300.
- The reset button must be placed outside the danger zone so that it cannot be operated by a person inside it. In addition, the danger zone must be entirely visible to the operator who activates the reset button.
- The assembly and use of safety light curtains must comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
- It is mandatory that the dimensions of the protective field are such that the ratio of the lengths of the authorized sides is not exceeded
