Product description
The KT5-2 contrast sensors are ideal for high-precision contrast detection, for example for detecting marks on high-gloss materials. Thanks to 3-colour LED technology, the sensors activate the best possible emitted light source for each contrast. In addition, the sensors have application-specific learning processes. The sensor automatically sets all necessary parameters, either via the teach button on the device or via an external control cable. The sensor then determines the ideal switching threshold from the two detected grey values. High-precision contrast detection, automatic adaptation for high-gloss objects, detection distances of 10 mm, 20 mm and 40 mm, a switching frequency of 10 kHz and individual alignment and mounting options allow the device to be used for a wide range of tasks. Finally, the 90° rotatable M12 connector enables easy mounting.
