TWDNOI10M3 - AS-Interface Master Module - TELEMECANIQUE
This AS-Interface module TWDNOI10M3 and brand TELEMECANIQUE has a display screen. This module belongs to the TWIDO range.
This TWDNOI10M3 Télémécanique module is at your disposal to replace your defective equipment and has a suitable guarantee.
AS-Interface module reconditioned and tested under full load (duration test) on dedicated TWIDO bench.
The AS-Interface bus (abbreviation of the English Actuator-Sensor-Interface) is a fieldbus (level 0) that can be used for the interconnection of sensors / actuators. It allows the routing of information "all or nothing" or analog between a "master" bus equipment and "slave" equipment type sensors / actuators.
AS-Interface is composed of three basic elements:
a specific power supply delivering a voltage of 30 VDC,
- a bus master,
one or more slave devices (sensors, actuators and others).
These components are interconnected by a bi-wire cable dedicated to the transmission
data and food.
AS-Interface is a system on which the management of exchanges is ensured by a
the only master who successively calls, by bus scan, each slave
detected, and waiting for his answer. The master manages the inputs / outputs, the parameters and
the identification codes of each slave, in addition to their addressing.

AS-Interface V2:
- 4 data bits (D0 to D3), which are the image of the following inputs or outputs
the nature of the interface,
- 4 parameterization bits (P0 to P3), which define the operating modes of the interface.
The vehicle serial communication frame for extended addressing slaves:
- 4 data bits (D0 to D3), which are the image of the following inputs or outputs
the nature of the interface,
- 3 parameterization bits (P0 to P2), which define the operating modes of the interface.
All slave devices connected to the AS-Interface bus are identified by
at least one "I / O code" and one "ID code" that complete the functional identification
of the slave.
Some slaves have an ID2 code and an ID1 code that specify the internal functions of the slave: example of the analog slaves where the ID2 code indicates the number of analog channels of the slave.
In the request of the AS-Interface master, the outputs are set and the inputs
AS-Interface devices are reassembled in the slave's response.
Since its creation, the Telemecanique brand has been pursuing an innovation policy, which has become one of the world’s first references in automatism management.
The story of Telemécanique is read through that of its inventions, initiated with the launch of the first contactor on bars. A patent filed the same year of its acquisition, in 1924! It will develop contactors D became world reference. The 1980s marked the acquisition of Telemechanics by Schneider Electric (1988).
