Module compatible with Unidrive SP, Quantum MP, Digitax ST, Mentor MP drives.

Control Techniques’ additional combined encoder input and output interface supports Incremental, SinCos, HIPERFACE, EnDAT and SSI encoders.
The SM-Universal Encoder Plus Option Module provides the drive an additional feedback port with the same functionality as the base drive to support:
-SinCos with commutation
-Quadrature incremental
-Pulse and direction
-SSI
The module also provides a simulated encoder output that can be programmed to operate in the following modes:
-Quadrature incremental
-Pulse and direction
-SSI
The module also incorporates high-speed inputs for position capture

The SM-Universal Encoder Plus option module allows for various types of feedback device to be connected to the Unidrive SP, and to be configured for either reference or main feedback. The SM-Universal Encoder Plus option module also has a simulated encoder output which can be programmed to operate in either Ab, Fd or SSI mode.
