BMXEHC0800 - Counting module - SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC
This SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC power supply module is reference BMXEHC0800. It belongs to the MODICON X80 (M340/M580) range.
Characteristics: Counting modules for 24 V, 2 and 3 wire detectors and 10/30 V incremental encoders with push-pull outputs
This SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC automaton is at your disposal to replace your defective equipment and has a guarantee adapted to your needs.
The Modicon X80 module platform is common to all Modicon M340, Modicon Quantum Ethernet I/O, Modicon M580 automation platforms, as well as future Modicon Mx80 controllers. Thanks to this common platform, the inventory of spare parts is much lower and maintenance and training costs are significantly reduced. A common configuration tool is used for all PAC modules using EcoStruxure Control Expert with a high level of services, such as forcing simulation and DDT structured device addresses. This platform offers a wide choice of Schneider Electric input/output modules (digital, analog, expert and communication).
Good practice in control system design dictates that process control functions remain operationally separated from safety functions. This is usually done by using a controller for the process and a separate system for safety.
• Dual processing capability to independently control safety and process functions
• Bringing together independent plant safety and process control to protect the entire operating environment
• Reduction of the impact of typical failures on the safety of installations, people and property.
• No need to design, install or maintain separate security systems
• Tools, wiring methods and input/output structures identical to those of the Modicon M580 controller.
By simply adding a dedicated processor, the Modicon X80 module platform serves as a common foundation for automation platforms.
She can also:
• be part of a Quantum and Modicon M580 Ethernet I/O architecture as an Ethernet RIO station (EIO) with a CRA station head,
• create a Modbus/TCP DIO Ethernet station with a PRA module.
The Modicon X80 platform is available in single-rack or multi-rack configuration.
This platform also makes it possible to accommodate modules dedicated to automation platforms (communication, application, etc.).
A Modicon X80 station can support two racks separated by a cumulative distance of up to 30 m/98 ft.
This platform, common to several automation platforms, makes it possible to reduce the maintenance and training costs it generates thanks to:
• a single range of spare parts in stock,
• common training for several automatons.
Based on recent I/O technology, the Modicon X80 platform offers:
• high quality robustness and compactness,
• compliance with international certifications (ATEX, IEC, etc.),
• a wide choice of modules: digital or analog inputs/outputs, expert modules, communication modules, etc.
The programming and configuration of this platform is carried out via the EcoStruxure Control Expert software.
Bit forcing simulation simplifies simulation and data structuring simplifies diagnostics.
SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC is a French industrial group with international dimension, which manufactures and offers electricity management products, automation and solutions adapted to these trades.
Having consolidated its financial base thanks to the arrival of new shareholders and the simplification of its structures, Schneider began its redeployment at the end of the 1980s. Having joined Merin Gerin in the group (1986), the general management embarked on a acquisition strategy, marked by the integration of important companies that will become the core of the current group:
Télémécanique (1988)
Square D (1991)
Merlin Gerin (1992)
Modicon (1996)
