The decentralization of inputs/outputs makes it possible, while having performances comparable to those obtained in a centralized architecture, to best meet the needs of users and machine builders:

TBX Modules

TBX distributed I/O modules offer:

• great adaptability: they can be mounted in all positions, on all supports (platinum, chassis, DIN rail for TBX IP20, etc.), in all industrial environments,

• a reduced volume of interface elements,

• easy implementation and connection: direct connection of sensors and preactuators (removal of intermediate terminal blocks), integrated commons, several levels of marking (functional, electrical, identification of modules and connection points, etc.),

• connection close to sensors and actuators in a difficult environment using TBX IP65,

• great modularity allowing adaptation to the number and nature of the sensors and preactuators making up an island: input modules, output modules, mixed input/output modules and programmable channel modules,

• local management of operating and diagnostic modes, the connection point and the connected channels,

• ensuring compliance with international standards.

There are three types of TBX remote input/output modules.

• monobloc TBXs made up of a single element, without possibility of extension (IP20),

• waterproof TBXs made up of a single element, without the possibility of extension (IP65). They have 8 inputs, 8 outputs, 16 inputs or 16 outputs,

• modular TBXs created by the user by combining a communication module and a base, which constitutes a base (IP20). This base can be extended by a second base via a connection cable and provided with a cover connected to the communication module. This makes it possible to double the connection capacities of the TBX connection point. The modularity and diversity of modular TBXs make it possible to best adapt to the needs of the island.
