The ACOPOSinverter X64 is factory-set for the most common operating conditions (motor power according to inverter power):

• Display: inverter ready (rdY) motor stopped or motor frequency reference running

• Automatic adaptation of the deceleration ramp in the event of overvoltage during braking

• No automatic restart after elimination of a detected fault

• Logic inputs:

- LI1: forward (2-wire transient control)

- LI2, LI3, LI4: no assignment

• Logic output: LO1: no assignment

• Analog input: AI1 (0 to + 5 V) speed reference

• Relay R1: the contact opens in the event of a detected fault (or inverter stopped)

• Analog output AO1: no assignment

The nominal powers up to 0.75 kW (1 HP) do not include a fan.

The fan only operates when the thermal state of the drive requires ventilation

Using the drive with a different size motor

The motor may have a different power rating than the drive. In case of a smaller motor, there is no specific calculation. The motor current must be set on page 79 of the Motor thermal current ItH parameter. For larger motor sizes, up to 2 sizes possible (example: using a 4 kW (5.5 HP) motor on a 2.2 kW (3 HP) drive) it is necessary to ensure that the motor current and actual motor power do not exceed the drive rating.

The DC bus voltage can exceed 400 V DC. Use a properly rated voltage sensing device when performing this procedure. To measure the

DC bus voltage:

1 Disconnect all power.

2 Wait 15 minutes to allow the DC bus to discharge.

3 Measure the DC bus voltage between terminals PA/+ and PC/– to ensure that the voltage is less than 42 V DC.

4 If the DC bus capacitors do not discharge completely, contact your local B&R office. Do not repair or use the drive.
