Basic control functions
Complete closed-loop control
Servo is closed-loop control using encoder feedback. "Full closed loop control" is the system that directly senses the position of the machine using a linear scale, whereas the general "semi-closed loop" is the one that senses the position of the motor. In a machine that drives a table with a ball screw, the following factors exist between the motor and the end of the table:
-Game of coupling table support or ball screw
-Ball screw pitch error
These can affect accuracy. If the position of the machine-side table is directly detected with a linear scale, high-precision position control that is not affected by backlash or pitch error is possible
Position control Synchronous control
This is one of the commands that allows two servo motors to drive the same axis. This is also called "tandem position control". The same position command is issued to the 2-axis servo, and the command is performed based on each axis' position and velocity feedback.
Speed control Synchronous control
This is one of the commands that allows two servo motors to drive the same axis. This is also called "Tandem speed control". The same position command is issued to the 2-axis servo, and the command is performed based on each axis' position and velocity feedback.
This function is typically used when controlling with a linear scale during full closed loop control.
Remote coded reference position control
This is the function to establish the reference point from the axis movements of the reference points using a scale with distance coded reference mark. since it is not necessary to move the axis to the reference point, the movement of the axis equivalent to establishing the reference point can be reduced. No dog is used because the position is calculated using landmarks. If the remote coded reference verification function is used to verify motor-side encoder data, select a battery option before adjusting the parameter.
Continuous spindle position loop control
Under this control, position loop control is always applied to the spindle, including when a speed command is issued (in Cutting). There is no need for control change or return to zero point during orientation and C-axis control change. Therefore, the operation can be completed in a shorter time than the previous one. In acceleration/deceleration with S command, acceleration/deceleration and orientation are always controlled with the maximum torque of the spindle motor.
