The MMI-P series are very user-friendly multi-line or graphic displays. They display pictorial information, data and messages preloaded by a computer. MMI-Ps are able to dialogue with many PLCs.
- Equipment check
An MMI-P system must include:
• An MMI-P
• The PLC link cable.
• A computer containing the Prizm32 software. A programming cable between the PC and the MMI-P ref ZA59M9F.
- Name
Provides a convenient path for a machine operator:
• Verification of the state of the machine and its parameters.
• Change in the state of the machine or its parameters.
• Maintains machine operation.
It makes it possible to increase the capacities of the machine in relation to:
• printer output
• multi-line or graphic display
• speed of display
Where to use it?
The MMI-P series are intended to work in an industrial environment. The MMI-P is also intended for use at temperatures (0–50°C) identical to those of the API. It is not suitable for any applications. Consult KEP for advice on exterior uses.
NEMA-4/IP65 standard
The front bezel of the MMI-P series certifies NEMA-4/IP65 standard. When panel is properly installed with NEMA standard. This means that no fluid will enter the panel when cleaning or when splashing water on the panel.
Electrical Environment
MMI-Ps have been tested to comply with the European standard. This means that the electrical circuit can withstand the effects of electrical noise. This does not guarantee noise immunity in too severe cases. Correct connection of the power cables ensures correct operation of the MMI-P
