The compact controllers of the MELSEC FX series offer cost-effective solutions for small to medium control and positioning tasks with 10 to 256 integrated inputs/outputs for industry, crafts and home automation.
With the exception of the FX1S, all FX series can be expanded with changes to the installation and thus grow with the respective need.
Connections to networks are also possible. In this way, the PLCs of the MELSEC FX family can communicate with other programmable logic controllers as well as with control systems and human-machine interfaces. For this, the PLC systems can be integrated on the one hand as local stations in MITSUBISHI networks and on the other hand as slave devices in open networks (eg PROFIBUS/DP).
In addition, the MELSEC FX family also allows the constitution of a Multidrop network and a Peer-to-Peer network.
For those who want to solve complex control tasks and who additionally need numerous special functions such as analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion or networking capability, the FX1N, FX2N, FX3G, FX3U and FX3UC Modular expandable are the right choice. All PLC types are part of the large MELSEC FX family which are compatible with each other.
The basic devices of the MELSEC FX family are available in different versions with regard to power supply and type of outputs. You can choose between devices with a supply voltage of 100 – 240 V AC or 24 V DC or 12 – 24 V DC and between relay and transistor output models.
