WEU 26/2-130 - safety switches - SICK
This WEU 26/2-130 safety light curtain is from the WSU/WEU26-3 range.
24Vdc, sweep page: 70m
This WEU 26/2-130 barrier from SICK is at your disposal to replace your defective equipment.
The safety barrier consists of a WSU26-3 transmitter module and a WEU26-3 receiver module. The WSU26-3 transmitter module emits a light beam which the WEU26-3 receiver module receives.
Obstruction of the beam by an object leads to an order to cut off the output. The control of the machine or installation which takes this signal into account must immediately stop the dangerous movement. The transmitter and receiver modules are fitted with operating LED indicators. Their functions as diagnostic elements are explained in chapter 6 “Commissioning”. The diagnostics LEDs are also used to diagnose faults (see chapter 8 “Fault diagnostics”). WSU/WEU263 barriers are not equipped with an internal restart interlock.
Rugged design for high durability in extreme environmental conditions
• Extremely robust for plant availability
• Well suited to extreme ambient conditions such as heat, cold or humidity
• Fewer variants thanks to standard sender
• Easy electrical integration using a cable gland and a relay at the outputs
Specific characteristics
•relay outputs
•robust construction
•long range up to 70 m
• heated window
The WSU/WEU263 barriers are used as access protection for machines or dangerous installations. The barriers are permanently mounted in the access area, respecting the necessary safety distance from the danger zone of the hazardous workplace. Obstruction of the beam by an object triggers the order to cut the output. The control of the machine or installation which takes this signal into account must immediately stop the dangerous movement
