Reduced maintenance work

Range of motors protected by a highly dust and heat resistant oil seal (with protective lip)

Engines protected by a highly dust- and oil-tight oil seal (with protective lip) have been added to the range of automotive products equipped with conventional specification oil seals. Oil seals of this type of engine are made of a material with greater heat resistance. You can select the appropriate motor type according to your application environment, such as dusty, powder or gear connection need.

• Oil seals (with protective lip) are not available for MSMF motors with flange size 80mm or less.

• MQMF and MHMF motors with a flange size of 80 mm or less equipped with oil seals (with lip protection) are not compatible with the mounting of A5 family models.

Other driver functions

Adaptive charge control

Adaptive load control automatically sets the best-suited gain table in response to inertia fluctuations caused by workload changes, allowing machines to operate stably at all times.

Friction torque compensation

This feature reduces the effect of machine friction and improves responsiveness. Three types of adjustable friction compensation: unbalanced load compensation, which sets a constantly applied torque offset; kinetic friction compensation, which changes direction in response to the direction of movement; and viscous friction compensation, which changes according to speed control.

Manual/automatic damping filter

Equipped with a damping filter which is automatically adjusted via the installation support software. This filter removes the natural frequency component vibration from the control input, significantly reducing axis vibration at standstill. The number of filters for simultaneous use has been increased to three compared to conventional two filter use. (Two-on-one control in two degrees of freedom mode.) The adaptive frequency has also been significantly expanded from 0.5 Hz to 300 Hz.

Manual/automatic notch filter

Equipped with auto-adjusting notch filters for added convenience. It is now no longer necessary to measure annoying vibration frequencies. Our notch filters automatically detect vibrations and provide automatic adjustment. These notch filters significantly reduce noise and vibration caused by equipment resonance and respond quickly. The A6 family is equipped with 5 notch filters with adjustable frequencies from 50 Hz to 5000 Hz. The depth can be individually adjusted within this range. (Two of the filters automatically share settings.)

Block operation function

256 block designs can be created. Easy control is possible because the instruction can be given to block no. by Modbus (RS232, RS485) or interface (IO) signal.
