The MICROMASTER Vector (MMV) and MIDIMASTER Vector (MDV) are a standard range of drives with sensorless vector capabilities that allow them to control the speed of three-phase motors. Different models are available, ranging from the compact MICROMASTER Vector 120 W to the MIDIMASTER Vector 75 kW. Sensorless vector control allows the drive to calculate the required changes in output current as well as frequency to maintain the desired motor speed over a wide range of load conditions. • Temperature range from 0 to 50°C (0 to 40°C for the MIDIMASTER Vector).

• Closed loop control using proportional, integral and derivative regulator circuit function. 15 V, 50 mA power supply provided for the real-world sensor. • Possibility of remote control via RS485 serial port using the USS protocol which offers the possibility of controlling up to 31 drives. • Default settings are pre-programmed for European and American requirements.

• Six modes of controlling the output frequency (and therefore the motor speed): (1) Frequency reference via the digital keyboard. (2) High-resolution analog reference (voltage or current input). (3) External potentiometer to control motor speed. (4) Eight fixed frequencies via binary inputs (TOR). (5) Motorized potentiometer function. (6) Serial interface.
