Areas of use

Prohibited applications, unless the devices are specially designed for this purpose:

• use in use in hazardous areas

• use in environments where there is a risk of contact with:

-oils

–acids

-gas

–vapours

-dust

–parasitic radiation

–other harmful environments

• use on devices when they generate vibrations and shocks whose level exceeds that indicated in standard EN 50 178

• use in applications where the converter alone (without control by a higher-ranking safety device) must ensure safety functions for the protection of machines and people

Input voltage ranges

Depending on the model and the power range, the converters can be connected directly to the following networks.

MOVITRAC® LTE B sizes 1, 2 (input voltage 115 V):

115 V ± 10 %, single phase, 50 ... 60 Hz ± 5 %

MOVITRAC® LTE B sizes 1, 2 and 3s (200 – 240 V):

200 V ... 240 V ± 10 %, single phase* / three phase, 50 ... 60 Hz ± 5 %

MOVITRAC® LTE B sizes 1, 2 and 3s (380 – 480 V):

380 V ... 480 V ± 10 %, three-phase, 50 ... 60 Hz ± 5 %

Overload capacity

All MOVITRAC® LTE B units have an overload capacity of:

• 150% for 60 seconds

• 175% for 2 seconds In the event of an output frequency lower than 10 Hz, the admissible duration of overload capacity at 150% is reduced to 7.5 seconds.
