6SE7023-8TP70 - Inverter - SIEMENS
Inverter 6SE7023-8TP70 and SIEMENS brand inverter. MASTERDRIVES Motion Control P2. This inverter belongs to the SIMOVERT range.
PERFORMANCE UNIT 2 COMPACT PLUS INVERTER, IP20 DC 510-650 V, 37.5A RATED POWER: 18.5KW
This Siemens 6SE7023-8TP70 inverter is at your disposal to replace your defective equipment and has a guarantee adapted to your needs.
The inverter is a power electronics component for feeding three-phase drives in the output range from 2.2 kW to 37 kW.
The unit can be operated from a DC system with a voltage in the range of the values indicated on the rating plate (270...310 / 510...650 / 675...810 V).
The inverter enables a three-phase system with a variable output frequency between 0 Hz and a maximum of 600 Hz to be generated from the DC link voltage with the pulse width modulation method (PWM).
The internal 24 V DC voltage is supplied through an integral power supply unit.
The unit is controlled by the internal closed-loop control electronics, the functions are provided by the unit software.
Operator control is via the PMU operator control panel, the user-friendly OP1S operator contol panel, the terminal strip or via the serial interfaces of a bus system. For this purpose, the unit is provided with a number of interfaces and six slots for the use of optional boards.
Pulse encoders and analog tachometers can be used as encoders on the motor.
Safe converter operation requires that the equipment is mounted and commissioned by qualified personnel taking into account the warning information provided in these Operating Instructions.
The general and domestic installation and safety regulations for work on electrical power equipment (e.g. VDE) must be observed as well as the professional handling of tools and the use of personal protective equipment.
Death, severe bodily injury or significant material damage could result if these instructions are not followed.
When positioning the units, it must be observed that the DC link connection is located at the top section of the unit and the motor connection at the lower section of the unit.
The units can be mounted flush with each other.
In order to ensure an adequate supply of cooling air, a clearance of 100 mm must be left at the top of the unit and 250 mm at the bottom of the unit respectively to components which may considerably affect the flow of cooling air.
When mounting in switch cabinets, the cabinet cooling must be dimensioned according to the dissipated power. Please refer to the Technical Data in this regard.
The electronic box offers six slots (slots) for plugging in optional cards. The slots are identified by the letters A to G. Slot B does not exist in the electronic box, it is used in Compact PLUS devices.
If you want to use D to L slots, you also need:
- the LBA (Local Bus Adapter) backplane receiving the CU card and two other motherboards, and
- a motherboard (ADB - Adaption Board) which can receive two optional cards as daughter cards.
The slots are located in the following locations:
♦ CU card slot at the top
♦ Slot C CU card at the bottom
♦ Slot D motherboard at slot 2 at the top
♦ Slot E motherboard in slot 2 at the bottom
♦ Slot F motherboard at slot 3 at the top
♦ Slot G motherboard at slot 3 at the bottom
