ConneXium 499NES18100 Rail Switch Supports Operations
Ethernet 10 Base-T and Fast Ethernet 100 Base-TX in Environments
industrial. It supports switched Ethernet networks in accordance with the
IEEE 802.3 or 802.3u standard, using copper technology. The module
has eight RJ45 twisted pair ports that support eight
Ethernet connections at 10/100 MBit / s. It connects to a standard DIN / ISO rail.
You can connect up to eight data terminal equipment (DTE) or
other network segments at 10/100 Mbit / s ports using peer-to-peer cabling
Twisted. Ports support autonegotiation, autopolarity and
autocrossing.

T-10/100 base ports provide terminal connections for the segment
LAN connected. You can connect single devices or segments

Frame switching:
Switching a delayed transmission:
All data received by the ConneXium 499NES18100 switch since
the system bus or at the ports are stored and their validity is checked. The
invalid or defective frames (frames larger than 1,536 bytes or with
a CRC error) and frame fragments (greater than 64 bytes) are ignored. The
switch transmits valid frames.
Multi-address switching:
The switch memorizes all its source addresses on a per port basis. only
packages with
- unknown addresses,
- addresses stored at the specific port,
- a multicast address,
in the destination address field are sent to the port.
A switch can store up to 1,000 addresses. This function becomes
necessary when multiple terminals are connected to one or more ports. The
multi-address switching allows the connection of multiple subnets
independent to a switch 499NES18100 ConneXium.
